The internet here is horrible....
The internet has been doing absolutely horrible here at Concord. I have barely been able to get to my webpage, much less wait for Blogger to load up so I can give an update. But, I finally waited through it all, and am updating.
Had a pretty good day today, but last night sucked. I did something that is completely not like me. I don't know what I was thinking. I totally fucked up. And I am sorry. I hope you can forigive me and leave it in the past. It will never happen again. I still feel like shit for the way I acted. I am glad that you were understanding and I hope everything works out between us Victoria.
There have been people hitting up my message board like crazy. Everyone should be posting on there. There have been some pretty good debates going on. Been pretty interesting. I didn't really do much today, class, homework, and Halo mostly. But, I did get to go over and see Victoria for a while, which is always good.
There probably won't be anymore political talk on my Blog here. It is all on the Forum/Message Board. But, I might set up another subsection of my webpage devoted just to politics. We'll see.
I feel really good tonight for some reason, eventhough I am seriously tired as shit. I guess it's just a mix of things. Mostly Victoria, but that's a given. It's also the way that me and Andrea are becoming friends. She was understanding, and helped me realize a lot of things last night. Thanks Andrea.
I have a DVD Burner now. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I like to buy DVD's. Not burn them. Perhaps for movies that are ok and not good enough to buy, it is a benefit. lol.
It was a good day. I hope tomorrow is similar.

I've been pretty busy...
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been pretty busy with classes and Halo, I haven't really had time to do much else. I have a shitload of homework to do tonight. I have to read 4 chapters in American Federal Government, Read a lot on Social Security and write my senators about it by monday. I have 2 C++ programs to do. I have a lot of reading to do in Comp. Org. and Hardware. Also a lot of reading to do in Physical Geography and an Exercise that involves about 30 questions. Oh yeah, and 2 powerpoint presentations for Intro to Computers in Business. I'm pretty loaded. I hope I can get most of it done today.
The Cowboys from Hell had another party last night. And we are having another one tonight. It's usually a pretty good time. Me, Tim, Dean, and Victoria went sleigh riding at like 2 a.m. last night. It was cold, but I couldn't really feel much at the time. I fell pretty damn hard a couple of times. It was a good time. Victoria and I may hang out later, I don't know what's going on today. So, well, she just sent me an IM. Ha.
I need to get my ass on the ball. Time is money.

Same ol' shit...
Haven't posted in a couple of days. Been busy and tired most of the time. I still have two more classes today, and I have a little bit of a hangover. Just a little headache. And fatigue. But anyway, I bought all of my books except for one. I still haven't got a couple of them yet. They are shipping. Been playing a bit of The Sims 2, I guess I will review that in the games section soon enough. I got a C++ programming assignment today. Yay. I am getting ready to go to Comp. Org and Hardware where I will probably fall asleep, because that class is a bit dry. I am hungrier 'n shit! Damn.
Played a shitload of Halo, and Halo 2 yesterday. There wasn't anything else to do. The lagg was god awful on Halo 2 though. It was near impossible to play. Well, I am going upstairs for a few, then to class. Later.

Ah, finally a break...
I have been reading all day. I have a headache and I am ready for bed. I have been reading the manuals to PHP, MySQL, and phpBB all day. Not the page turners like a Stephen King novel persay. That's the joy of Open Source software though.
I migrated to Firefox fulltime. Great browser. So damn fast you wouldn't believe.
Talked to Victoria, still haven't really worked everything out, but I think things are cool between us.
Bowling was fun, I still didn't bowl as well as a can, but I bowled way better than I did last week. Josh bowled awesome. We all agree to make this a weekly thing, going bowling. Eventually, I will get pretty good.
Well, not too much else to say. I guess I am going to get something to eat and hit the sack. Later.

Home sweet...
Well, I am, of course, home for the weekend from that place of demons, called Concord. Had a fucked up week to say the least. My classes got fucked up, had to drop/add. Still haven't got it all figured out. Hopefully after tuesday everything will be set. I called the bowling ally and reserved a lane. Me, Josh, Billy, and Justin are all going bowling again this weekend. Hopefully I bowl a little better than I did last time. We are leaving at 9. It sucks here, because the only thing to do is go bowling. Can't say much more for Concord though. Only things to do there is to get drunk, get high, go to a movie, or go bowling. Wow. I can do all of those things here at the house if I want. But no.

I am not hurt about your decision to go with Brantley. Whatever you want is fine with me. But for God's sake, make up your mind for sure before you lead Brantley on, as you did me. It wouldn't have worked out between us anyway. I had been thinking that for a while, but I still wanted to give it a chance, because you never know if you don't try. Anyway, I don't want you to feel like I am preaching to you or anything, eventhough that is the way it sounds. If you don't want to take my advice, don't. If we decide not to talk to each other anymore... Good luck with life, I hope you figure everything out.
I can't keep second guessing myself. It gets me in fucked up situations constantly. Even on tests. I second guess my answers, and fuck up. I have to start trusting my instincts.
I have a feeling this is going to be a pretty good semester. Eventhough it has had a rocky start, I see a lot of good in the future. Relationship? Perhaps. Good Grades? Most Definately. Lots of Halo? Absolutely.
Well, I guess I will end this ramble here. Nothing much else to say.

This week went pretty quick...
Probably because it was only 3 days of classes...
I guess I am getting ready to go eat breakfast. Then to C++, then Comp Org. , then home. I dropped calculus, and now have Physical Geography, and maybe frankenstein with Gompf. I have been playing the Sims 2 a lot. Pretty cool game. Haven't really been playing Halo much. Just monday. I left my xbox up in Matt's room because they use it more than we do... for now.
It's weird how someone's lifestyle can switch all of a sudden. People and their changing minds. I don't really change my mind often. I usually have the mindset of what I am going to do in this or any situation before I even get to it. And I do. It's times like these that makes ME feel smarter than most people. Because I can manage my own life and I don't get overwhelmed by it. Fuck book smarts, street smarts, or whatever. I have smarts that will keep my life moving in the right direction. If you don't have these, those other attributes don't make a shit to anyone. If your life is out of control, you affect everyone's life around you. Be more responsible with other people's feelings. It WILL come back to haunt you. Trust me.

First Day of classes...
Yep, it's the very first day of classes this semester. I have already had my C++ class. There are only like 7 people in there. It should be alright, because I tend to be decent at C++. He changed the rule about late assignments. No late assignments will be accepted. Thus, if I have a program due one week. I will be unavailable until that s.o.b. is finished. I have class at 11, and 2 today. Don't have class tomorrow until 12, and 2. So I will get to sleep in if I can. I have been waking up at like 6:30 for the past 4 days. That's weird, because I usually don't even go to be until around that time. It's kinda good to be back at CU. I'm not going to like the classes, but being around my friends again is cool. Me, Relay, Capt, Dean, and Jeremy got drunk Monday night. Matt was there but didn't drink. It was a pretty good night back. I couldn't update my website because the internet was down here at school. It's running very well today, I hope it stays like this. Well, I am going to play The Sims 2 until class at 11. Later.

I finally decided to buy me a domain. It's about time. I was sick of fooling around with the different names that I have had. I have it for three years before I have to make another payment. So that's good. It took forever to change all of my links over to the new name. But I got it finished. I bought this domain from Yahoo! Small Business. Eventhough I don't have a business, I still wanted my own domain. Well, I have to go pack my shit up and get ready to head back to CU for another semester of hell. See most of you there. Later.
Today was an ok day, I went bowling with Josh, Billy, and Justin. Pretty fun, eventhough I bowled horrible. I usually bowl around 150 - 170. Didn't tonight though. I guess I was just rusty, because we never have money to go bowling down at CU. Josh and I talked about our plans for this semester. I wonder if they will work out? I know last semester's didn't. As plans hardly ever do.
I am kind of tired for some reason, and it's only 1:43. I think I am going to go to bed. Or go watch a movie until I fall asleep. If possible. Well, thanks for your continued visits. Later.

Get a Website!
All links are now up. Programs is just a section for programming help, but everyone should check them out, to see what I waste my life doing, and because I post some useful software.
After doing this webpage, I just love to look at it. I am very proud of it, I worked my ass off on it. Thanks for all of the comments everyone, they mean a lot to me.
No one seems to use the message board, and considering I have my Music and Movies section, I don't really need it. I am thinking of just leaving it for people to ask for computer help on.
If anyone that reads this has a website or blog, give me the link so I can put it in my links section. I average about 100 hits a day, so it will bring a little bit of traffic to your site. The past 3 days I have actually had about 300 hits per day. Been a good week. I guess updating a lot helps.
I love music. I can't imagine my life without it. Hearing the emotion and skill of a punk band makes my day. Whatever...
If anyone wants me to review a particular movie, or CD, tell me and I will. That's why Napolean Dynamite was posted today.
Has anyone seen Spanglish? I really want to see that movie, and I am wondering if it is worth it. Also, I want to see White Noise. I bet that movie is going to be badass.
I wonder if they have fixed the internet at Concord. I sure do hope so, I don't feel like putting up with that same shit again this semester. I bet we are going to have to do all of that shit like having them come and check our computers for anti-virus software, like it will help against worms... morons.
I wonder how LUG is going to do this semester without Eric. I sure do hope I can make it through my programming classes. He was a world of help to me throughout all of them. I hope the group doesn't fall apart, our member list is significantly smaller than it was last semester... and it wasn't too big to begin with. Maybe we can even take a nice trip to a convention like we did in October. See October 2004 archives for the story.

Changes.
Well, I changed it again. I started completely over and did this template by hand. My site is now hosted here at my house, on my Mom's computer, via charter pipeline, apache, and guildftpd. Everything you need to host a webpage.
Programs and Movies are still under construction. Music link is up.

Bush carries Electoral College after delay
President Bush officially won a second term in the White House after electoral votes from all 50 states were counted Thursday during a joint session of Congress.
There were many democrats that were upset by this, but Kerry is wiser than them apparently.
Kerry released a letter Wednesday saying he would not take part in the protest.
"Our legal teams on the ground have found no evidence that would change the outcome of the election," Kerry said.
Bush carried Ohio by more than 118,000 votes -- the Buckeye State win providing the margin of victory in the Electoral College race. The president received 286 to Kerry's 252 electoral votes.
So Bush is officially the President.

Letter from the President
Well, I hadn't checked the mail in a couple weeks, so I checked it. I got a credit card bill, and a letter. From George W. Bush. It was handwritten. He was thanking me for campaigning for him in WV and wishing me a happy holiday season. Weird, eh?
Well, my website is an on-going process. It has yet again changed in appearance. Even contains a little bit of Comic Sans. "posted by..." :P
There is a lot of freedom included when you create your own blogger template. You can do anything you want with it. Change colors, create layers, frames, just whatever you want. Not too bad to learn either... well, if you are familiar with the likes of Macromedia Software. I have Macromedia Studio MX that I do all of my web design with. I am really getting into it and learning all kinds of new tricks.
No one has posted on the message board in quite some time. I know I have, but there aren't any replies!
I had 180 hits yesterday. Pretty good if you ask me.
Estimated for this month is now at 1500.
Everyone needs to download some Coheed and Cambria. Great stuff.
Also, no one has told me how they like the progress I am making with my webpage, leave comments and tell me. Tell me if it takes too long to load on dial up... if there are pop ups, if it is ugly as shit.. just anything. Then I will criticize yours :)
I haven't been getting much sleep, as most of you can tell, by the times that I am posting. I had 3 hours of sleep yesterday, to try to get some sleep tonight. Didn't work. I stayed up and watched "Eyes Wide Shut" and worked on my page. I don't like sleep. Seems like I have better things to do with my time. Review of "Eyes Wide Shut" on the message board.
It'd be nice to hear from some of you, leave some comments, post on the message board -- I am sure you have heard a song that you liked, or watched a good movie, tell me about it!!! Or you can e-mail me, or IM me. My AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, and MSN are always signed in.

A lot of work, more to do.
Well, I completely transformed my page. This layout was completely, and I mean completely hand typed by me. Let me tell ya, a blogger template isn't the easiest thing to master. I still have a lot of work still left to do. As you can see, I moved it back over to the blogger servers, for the reason that people were getting a shitload of pop ups, and active x prompts. There should be absolutely no pop ups on this, if you get one, I really need to know about it.
The biggest challenge is memorizing the blogger tags. Once you figure out how they all work, (by fucking up a million times), you can actually make a little bit of progress. I couldn't handle using someone elses layout. That's like stealing code to me. I would rather settle for a simpler layout, then do that. As I learn new skills there will be more and more improvements. The background being the biggest factor. Now I have to learn image manipulation. That should be fun. I definately need some graphics. Overall, not too bad for about 4 hours of work. If you right-click anywhere on the page and click "View Source" you will see my code. Hard to believe I am capable of such code, eh?

Little Changes to the Webpage
Well, I made a few little changes, such as the news ticker under the title at the top. The bad thing about it is that it is only viewable in IE. I cleaned up my HTML code so that my page looks the same in both IE and Netscape based browsers. (except for the ticker of course). I brought my message board back up and posted quite a few things on it. Please register and make posts. Pretty nice piece of software. The link is on the sidebar.
Leave comments and tell me what you think about my changes.
If you are on dial-up, I need to know how long it is taking for my webpage to load up. I have broadband, so I can't really tell if it is taking a long time or not. It might take a little bit the first load, but after it caches the pictures it will run swiftly.

The New Year, 2005
Well, the new year is here, and I am wondering where 2004 went. It went by so damn fast. Every year goes by quicker and quicker. My second year of college is almost over. Two more years and then the real world comes in. As if I am not in the real world now...
I just don't know where time goes anymore. I don't really have much to show for it. What happens when time stops for me? Will I just go to sleep? Will I have an afterlife where I live forever in happiness? Or will I just fall into a nightmare and never wake up? Or will everything be over... no sleep, no afterlife, no nightmare. I have faith that I will in fact have an afterlife. I will see my Grandpa and Uncle again, and we will all be happy. God will make this possible.
Life comes, life goes... I just hope mine is long, happy, and prosperous. 20 years already down. What's going to come my way next?
