November 30, 2004 - Pretty good day back...

Well, it wasn't a bad day at school. I got a few programs I still have to do this week, but I should be ok. Played games all day. Just a recreational day I guess. Victoria came over and played Halo, Halo 2, and DDR. We played a shitload of Halo... eventhough Halo 2 has already been released. We don't even care. We still can't forget about Halo. However, we did miss dual weilding weapons, it was fun regardless. Well, I'm going to hit the sack so I don't have to take a nap tomorrow, cause I won't have time for a nap. Later yo.

November 25, 2004 - No Smallville tonight...

Well, I was dissapointed that Smallville didn't come on tonight. It will be on next week though. The WB was showing A Walk to Remember tonight in the place of Smallville and Jack and Bobby. So, I watched it instead. Good movie. Well, I'm going to hit the hay, long day of work tomorrow, regardless of it being Thanksgiving or not. Can't earn money if you don't work. Later.

November 23, 2004 - Halo 2 and work...

Well, the balance between Halo 2 and work is ok, except, I can't seem to squeeze sleep in the mix. Oh well. Going to bed, work at 6. Later.

November 22, 2004 - It's good to be home...

It sure does feel good to be home. I have just been sitting around, relaxing, watching some movies, and playing a lot of Halo 2 on Xbox Live. It doesn't get much better than this. I have to work tomorrow. I have to get up at 6 a.m. and look what time it is. Oh well, shit happens. I am currently watching the World Series of Poker, as I do quite a lot. Great stuff.

No Homework all week. Ah....

I really think that this break from school is going to do wonders for me. I was under a lot of stress.

I fucking failed my COBOL test friday. The one fucking thing I forgot to study, was the majority of the motherfucking questions. Ain't that about a bitch? Fuck yeah it is.

I have a shitload of friends on Xbox Live now. It's a good community. We don't really play the ranked games a lot, we like to play custom games. It's just like old school system link. That's what most people on there do too. Well, at least the good players.

There are a lot of skilled players on there. I have received about a million clan invites. Don't know which one I will choose. I have my own clan, but it's just Josh and I. We need at least 1 or 2 more members so we can play clan matches.

I got drunk both Friday night, and Saturday night. Celebrating the week off... yeah. The great thing about it, it was Bud Light. The greatest alcoholic drink there is. Fuck Miller Lite, and fuck "half the carbs". I could use a few more pounds anyway.

So, what's up people? I haven't got any messages, or received any comments in a while. I really like to read other ppls weblogs, so if you have one, please send me the link.

Well, I guess I'm going to go get some sleep, get up, go to work, get home, play Halo, then do it all over again. Lata.

November 19, 2004 - Sorry I haven't updated!

Well, I am finally updating after a while. I have been really busy. Teachers like to pile a bunch of tests and homework on their students the week before thanksgiving break. I sure won't be giving thanks for that. I finished all of my programming homework and got it submitted. I haven't played Halo 2 for nearly two days now I have been so busy. I found a new way to program and compile COBOL that made the process a lot easier. I have a test in there tomorrow. I should be ok, as long as I take my time. One more day, then freedom for a week. Well, not necessarily, I will be working everyday, but it's still better than school! I am going to get back into posting on here everyday now that homework has come to a halt. I can take time away from Halo to do it. LOL. Oh, by the way, Halo is my hobby. It is mostly just for fun, but I do take a certain seriousness about it. I want to practice it, and be good at it. As anyone would want to be with their hobby. So, to judge someone about their hobby being a video game a waste of time, compared to yours being reading as not, is not right. It's my hobby, I will play it as much as I want. I feel so relieved that I got my COBOL done. I thought I would be up all night! Home sweet home tomorrow.

IMPORTANT:
If your computer has ever given you problems, or just doesn't run like you want, the Concord Linux Users are having a meeting the thursday the week after break for people interested in Linux and our group. Please come, you might be surprised as to what you will learn. We will answer any questions you have, and I will be there, so at least you will know one person, so you don't have to worry about that :)

Well, thanks for reading, even though I have been slacking off of my page a little. Going to bed, then to class tomorrow, then home for 9 days!!! Yay.

November 11, 2004 - Halo 2 is finally in our hands!

Our Halo 2 Stats on Xbox Live

Well, everyone knows that Halo 2 has finally been released! We were at Wal-mart at 10:30 monday night waiting for the release at 12. We got our special edition copy at 12:03 and were playing it by 12:30. Played till 6 a.m. then bed, then classes, then Halo 2. We've mostly been playing system link here on campus against our buddies. I really like the game. A lot of people still like the first one better. I just don't see how they can say that. So many things have been improved, and Xbox Live is just great. Dual-wielding weapons is just plain genius.

Our Xbox Live stats aren't that great right now because of the lagg we experience with the shitty internet here on campus. They will definately be better after this weekend because we are taking it home and playing on our broadband connections. Lagg free. Hmmm... There are so many people playing system link, regardless of xbox live. That's great. It's really good practice, because a lot of the players on campus are good.

It seems that we have been waiting too long for this game. It's been release for 2 days and there have already been near 300,000 people that have logged onto xbox live with Halo 2. I figure it will be in the millions by the end of the month. I just hope the bungie servers can handle the load. I figure they can, because they were expecting that many people.

Sorry if the updates slack off on my webpage, time is slim, especially now that we have Halo 2. I hope my grades don't fall too bad. For those of you that know me and Josh, you know that we played Halo very much last semester. It will be the same for years to come with Halo 2. But we always have time for other things, if they present themselves. But considering we are at Concord, and there really isn't anything better to do, Halo 2 is the primary thing to spend our time on. I would say that we have spent about 20 hrs on it already.

Well, getting ready for bed, haven't had much sleep for the last two days. Later.

November 08, 2004 - Ah, another weekend gone, another week of hell...

This weekend was pretty good. Went home friday, played NCAA 2005 on xbox live, and played DDR on xbox live (got killed!, I won one though :)) I decided to drive back to school this morning instead of last night. I am really tired for some reason. I need a nap. But assembly starts in like 15 minutes, so that's out of the question. I am done taking medicine for what the doctors said was a sinus infection. I swear everyday for the last week I have had a nose bleed. Last night I had a pretty bad nose bleed that happened right after a migraine hit me. I figure it's just a lot of stress because I had so many tests last week. Who knows.

A friend of mine sent me this link, quite interesting...lol.

November 02, 2004 - Election Day!

Ok, everyone knows it's election day. And, of course, Concord is like the only College/University in WV that has class today. Stupid school. Get out there and vote. Unless you are planning on voting for Kerry, then you can just stay home. But if you are voting for Bush, get to the nearest voting center and do it. George needs your support. Make the right choice for your country.

The internet was down in Wooddell all day yesterday, and it is going up and down today. This school needs to get some people in the computer center than knows what they are doing. I mean, I am not saying that I could do better, I am just saying that we are paying a lot of money to go here, we need people that can keep our shit running. And isolating Wooddell from the rest of the campus is not going to solve that problem. Nobody seems to fucking care about the guys in Wooddell. "Oh, there is worm traffic in Wooddell, let's put up a firewall and quarantine it there and they will be slow and the rest of the campus won't." Geez. And everytime I call that damn computer center I get voicemail. And I mean, I call every extension to the computer center. Plain and simple, we need new workers in the computer center that will do the job that Concord 'says' they are supposed to be doing. I have yet to see them do anything worthwhile.
For example, they wanted to get rid of the worm traffic. They wen't around checking all of the computers for virus scans. No. That's not what they needed to do. They needed to go around and check all of the computers for the latest windows updates. Computers that don't have those windows updates are the ones succeptable to the worms, not the ones without Norton. Just ridiculous. So, of course, the internet sucks really bad this semester. Last semester the internet ran awesome. I just don't know what happened. Who cares, I am only here for one more God forsaken semester, then I go to WVU where their internet works all the time.

Just Chillin', Killin'

Well, I decided not to go back to school today. Eventhough it is Sunday and I have class at 10 in the morning. I am just going to drive to school in the morning. I will leave here at around 8 and should get at school at around 9. Hopefully. If I miss my 10 o'clock class, it won't be a big deal because I haven't missed a single class in Assembly. I have a lot of stuff I need to address on this motherfucker. So expect some good shit to be posted within the next few days.
