Well, everyone knows that Halo 2 has finally been released! We were at Wal-mart at 10:30 monday night waiting for the release at 12. We got our special edition copy at 12:03 and were playing it by 12:30. Played till 6 a.m. then bed, then classes, then Halo 2. We've mostly been playing system link here on campus against our buddies. I really like the game. A lot of people still like the first one better. I just don't see how they can say that. So many things have been improved, and Xbox Live is just great. Dual-wielding weapons is just plain genius.
Our Xbox Live stats aren't that great right now because of the lagg we experience with the shitty internet here on campus. They will definately be better after this weekend because we are taking it home and playing on our broadband connections. Lagg free. Hmmm... There are so many people playing system link, regardless of xbox live. That's great. It's really good practice, because a lot of the players on campus are good.
It seems that we have been waiting too long for this game. It's been release for 2 days and there have already been near 300,000 people that have logged onto xbox live with Halo 2. I figure it will be in the millions by the end of the month. I just hope the bungie servers can handle the load. I figure they can, because they were expecting that many people.
Sorry if the updates slack off on my webpage, time is slim, especially now that we have Halo 2. I hope my grades don't fall too bad. For those of you that know me and Josh, you know that we played Halo very much last semester. It will be the same for years to come with Halo 2. But we always have time for other things, if they present themselves. But considering we are at Concord, and there really isn't anything better to do, Halo 2 is the primary thing to spend our time on. I would say that we have spent about 20 hrs on it already.
Well, getting ready for bed, haven't had much sleep for the last two days. Later.
