I guess most of you already know that I went to the hospital last night. Here's the story.
I have been a little sick for near a month now. A couple of days ago, I felt really good, so I figured I had got over whatever it was.
This Monday, I had really bad headaches, and my throat hurt, but I figured it was just my wisdom teeth cutting. I just took tylenol religiously and carried on.
Tuesday was a little worse. Every swallow sent sharp pains through my head, and it was getting a little difficult to deal with the pain. I was still assuming it was my wisdom teeth.
Yesterday, Wednesday... I went to all of my classes... barely. I felt absolutely horrible. I spent all day in bed, except for when I was in the cafe eating. Around 10 o'clock last night, the pain was unbearable. My temperature had went up a little bit, and I could barely talk or swallow. So, Josh took me to the Hospital.
I have had a sinus infection, and a bad amount of buildup in my lungs for a month. I tried to tough it out, but that was a bad idea. They gave me a shot to help clear out my sinuses, a painpill for the pain, and an anitbiotic. Then a PX for steroids (lungs) and antibiotics (sinuses) and told me to take tylenol for the pain. That was the first time I have went to the doctor since Junior High. I just don't go to the doctor. I figure, pain lets you know that you are still alive... but it can also kill you too. It could have ended up in a bad situation all around, if I wouldn't have went to the doctor. Possibly pneumonia. Sometimes, you just can't try to tough everything out. It can end up being the death of you.
