Jamie's Blog: Politics & Religion?
October 20, 2004 - Politics & Religion?

A friend of mine, who is a democrat (btw), made his first post on his blog tonight. It was, of course, about Politics and Religion. He relates religion to our two Presidential candidates, and makes good points.

Check it out: http://cartman124.blogspot.com

And another little piece of info. A lot of people are confused about where John Kerry stands about gay marriage. (It's easy to get confused about John Kerry... he's a flip-flopper remember?)

A lot of you don't know this, but John Kerry plainly stated on MTV's "Choose or Lose" that he supported gay marriage.

Now, for the sake of trying to get votes, he is saying that he only supports civil union... What the hell?

I was also confused about how he stood about this topic, and I told my brother what I thought was true.

Conversation between my brother and I
Me: Oh, and John Kerry doesn't support gay marriage.
Brother: Uh, Yes he does. I saw him say it on "Choose or Lose".
Me: Really, hmm. Must have been another flip-flop.

I found this out this weekend... just thought my readers should know the truth. He does support gay marriage. He is only saying that he doesn't now, to try to fool some of the people that don't believe in that sort of thing into voting for him.

What a dirty bastard.

The more he talks, the more he shows us how stupid he is. Hopefully by November, people will see his true colors, and vote for the man. George W.

Another thing, before I go to bed... It's not up to the President about gay marriage anyway. It's up to the state. Massachusetts for example, legalized gay marriage. If you are voting for Kerry only for gay marriage, don't do that. It's up to your state, not the president. Bush does not hate gays. He agrees with civil union. Just not marriage. And the fact that John Kerry is or was the senator of Massachusetts must say something about where he stands on gay marriage. I'm not sure how he voted when the bill passed, but my bet would be "yes".
